Road Tripping Pt VIII

After breakfast, we loaded up the car and hit the road. First we went in search of more petroglyphs along the Colorado River. Next we fueled up the car, then stopped at a drive through coffee shop for some coffee and headed out to the four corners where the States of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah meet about 145 miles from Moab, a two and a half hour drive. We walked the perimeter of the sight, browsed the outdoor shops, got some magnets, took some pictures, then back to the car and onward to Colorado. About 30 miles outside Durango, we noticed an abandoned gas station that was a contaminated waste site. We stopped to investigate. Back on the road to our destination. Once we checked into our hotel for the night, we headed to the historic downtown to get a bite to eat and check out the area. Durango was a cool place to visit.
