Europa - Prologue

Shane and I recently traveled from South Bend to numerous cities throughout Europe.  We left early on a Saturday morning, taking the South Shore Train to Chicago.  We walked a couple of blocks to the Blue Line and took it to O'Hare Airport.  We were flying to Krakow, Poland via Berlin, Germany on Air Berlin.  We settled on the plane for an eight hour flight.  I watched three movies, The Aristocats, The Jungle Book, and The Lego Movie; and episodes of Modern Family and The Big Bang Theory during the flight.  I did not sleep at all.  We landed in Berlin and went through customs. After an hour layover, we boarded a prop plane for an hour flight to Krakow.  Once we landed, the two week adventure was about to begin.
